Hublot is a luxury Swiss watchmaker that is renowned for its bold and innovative timepieces. Founded in 1980 by Carlo Crocco, Hublot quickly gained a reputation for its fusion of traditional Swiss watchmaking techniques with avant-garde designs and materials.
Hublot is also known for its collaborations with various celebrities and brands, resulting in unique and limited edition watches. For example, the Hublot Big Bang Sang Bleu, a collaboration with tattoo artist Maxime Buchi, features a unique geometric dial design inspired by Buchi’s signature style.
Now Hublot has decided to partner up with Takashi Murakami for their new limited watch
Takashi Murakami is a Japanese contemporary artist who is best known for his vibrant and colorful works of art that blend traditional Japanese art styles with popular culture and contemporary art. Born in Tokyo in 1962, Murakami began his artistic career as a student of Nihonga, a traditional style of Japanese painting that he would later subvert and transform through his unique style.
As you see the watch above is the Hublot frame with Takashi’s flower logo which actually spins within the face of the watch.
