It’s The Peoples Champ Paul Wall

The Peoples Champ ! Paul Wall the Hip Hop rapper with the Gangsta Grzzilez, who’s also known for his mixtapes in a chopped-up style learned from Dj Screw, to DJing, and Grillz store in Houston. 

Paul wall was Born on March 11th, 1981 in Houston. Growing up Paul never took rapping serious growing up until one day on his school bus he was listening to the other kids rap and said to himself he could do better. Aside from his rapping on the side paul took his education serious and attended the University of Houston where he studied Mass Communications for three years. 

Walls first ever music exposure came from being a street team member, promoting southern labels like Def Jam Records, Cash Money, And No Limit Records. This led to him proposing to promote Michael Watts (owner of Swishahouse) which changed his life. Being in contact with watts presented the opportunity for Paul and his partner Chamillionaire to convince Michael watts to freestyle on his radio station (97.9 the box) one day. Stars seeming to align, freestyling led to paul & Chamillionaire being placed on Micheal watts Mixtape which was titled
“Choppin Em Up Part 2”, which was released in mid 1999. This mixtape led to hold weight in the city keeping the Duo in the Houston Mixtape circuit, and then to joining the Swishahouse. 

Time passed on and Paul wall & Chamillionaire leaving swishahouse, started their group called “The Color Changing Click”. each mixtape they dropped after the other led to them gaining more and more opportunities to make high end music for the industry. At a certain point Paul and Chamillionaire cited creative differences as the cause for a split up, paul and chamillionaire went their separate ways and paul kept to his solo career. In 2004 paul released his first solo studio album called “the Peoples CHamp” where he locked in with Bun B, Mike Jones, Slim thug and many others. it debuted at number 1 on billboard hot 200. this album containing “sittin sidewayz” which everyone in the city knows. Also being nominated for a grammy for Best Rap Duo or Group for the song “Grillz” featuring Nelly. Pauls music can be looked at as motivation throughout the day, verses containing motivation to get on your money grind and stack your paper. Aside from his music career success, Paul wall co owns the worlds largest custom jewelry store in Houston with johnny dang. The Houston culture just doesn’t stop running through his veins
