This past week, Houstons J Mulan was recognized by “Most influential top 100” and “United Nations” as one of the most influential people under 40. Repping the city and making connections has been her game for some years now, so to be recognized on a grand scale like this is a huge accolade for one. This is what you would call black excellence honestly because it’s been said that it’s pretty harsh hustling in Houston to make a name for yourself. But the storm never lasts forever, fighting through adversity and resistance was all worth it to be recognized in such a manner. This is most likely not her last accolade for as we know she’s still under 40 with much more time to grow.
