Is real emceeing dead, or is niggas still spitting it from the head? Do brothers represent their morals, without falling victim to the world views? I wonder can he TalkToEm, let em know like he barking to em. Deuce TalkToEm from Dayton Ohio all the way to Houston texas carrying his truth, dropped his first Mixtape named “Visionxry”, officially in January of 2022. From cracking speakers with his shattering verses, Deuce lets us in on his origin, what led him to start & more.

Ever since a young age as Deuce says he’s always been songwriting and creating leading him to see the talent that hid had in him. Having such a positive environment since the age of a jit. Unlike some parents who want the kid to focus on school. Deuce kept rapping but didn’t put his first song on wax until the age of 14. with the guidance from his uncle who’s been a Artist since the age of 10. Deuce was able to put together his first song. Obviously, since rapping from a young age, Deuce has never been looking to get rich off his music. as he said “I already had my get rich plans, and I stopped that for this”. Having plans for the NFL to completely be turned around led to Deuce tapping back in with his voice as he says “one day I was chilling on the couch just freestyling on an Outkast beat, “Aquemini”, which led to me making a song called passenger. “I’m misunderstood but maybe that shit for the better, humility ability is keeping me together, acknowledging the lecture when he speaks because I’m clever, so I’ll be riding passenger & God can drive forever.” tapping into his emcee spirit, Deuce has been mainly inspired from artist like, Kanye, j cole, Lil Wayne, and even G Herbo. “I really be rapping like cole, but my mind be in the place of where ye at. Maybe not the new ye but the old Ye.”

Wondering with such great role models from the industry, what’s been his favorite piece that he’s put together so far. Deuce answered “ my favorite song is a song I got called “Do or Die”… it’s inspired by my dad, how he taught me to be a stand-up guy which got me thinking lives do or die, its either ima stand on it, or take what the world gives” almost as if battling demons. With his skills to paint a picture, Deuce knows he’d fit the best with dreamville for a record label, as he says “them boys be going too crazy”. But also at the same time, he could see himself with G Herbo, being originally born in Ohio, he’d stay true to his roots. But staying true to himself instead of his roots, he lets us know even though he loves Herbo, maybe it wouldn’t be the best fit due to them living different lives.

Living day to day like anybody, we wondered how does duece stay motivated to keep going. being raised to always be productive with an athlete’s background. The work ethic transferred over. “When I’m not working, it just feels like something is missing”. The heart of a hustler.

With the passion to supply the world with some substance, 5 years from now Deuce will be a household industry name as he says, “the same way they say Lil Durk or Gunna, they gone be saying me.” TalkToEm mane.
