I don’t know the last time an artist has done something so spontaneous and thoughtful for other artists like Mona Leo. You could try and compare it to when all the great artists got together to do “we are the world” but it wouldn’t be the same, because they were all prominent artists with established names. Houstons Mona Leo has decided to do something out of the ordinary by calling all singers out of the city, male or female, to showcase their raw vocals to be featured on her new single with Houston rapper NoCap. As said in her video with simple instructions, all that’s needed is for the artist to record themselves singing with no vocal presets, just you and the phone going at it. After you record, in order for her to see the video, you just need to place the hashtag #Missyoumonaleo so that she can review and choose you. As she said on IG live, she doesn’t want it to be a competition she just wants to listen and pick in private. So to all the artists who have a voice, get your vocal reps in and blow her away.
