The Tempo Thursday Experience

It’s as if Covid never happened, conversations and community all in one space. I know people get tired of the same routine. Waking up hitting the gym or even just going straight to work. Then headed back to your home, missing human interaction. Well, there’s been a cure, Tempo Thursday’s the place to be after 8 on every other Thursday. 

The vibes are set off by the one and only DJ old skoo. Wrecking the building with throwback tracks from the 90s to early 2000s. And I mean hit after hit on the turntables that boy ain’t miss a beat. Nun the less, the music is only the tip of the iceberg, with the event holding a hookah/ bar to get your drink on and get loose a Lil bit, with a section to calm the nerves with the hookah. Now for the people who ain’t really into all the drinks and hooks, during  this Tempo Thursday, they had painting and a pool table, where the Hostess swear she was gonna beat a nigga. Now you know ya boy had to shut that down, not all dreams come true. But if you got some skills You can gone head and throw some money on the table and do what you gotta do. Now the vibes ain’t complete without some grub to keep yo energy up and tempo understood the assignment. There was a food table to accommodate the event with dishes like pasta and shrimp to boudin rolls and more.

To Top off the event, they have live performances from dope artists from around the city ranging from r&b to even live poetry. Last night’s features came from MC Kodak to angelic singer Imani. lei to one of the rising artists out of Houston Mariahnaycole. Tempo Thursdays is a place to be to network meet new people and just vibe, cant wait for the next event.
