What makes an EP make you fiend for an album or even fiend for artist song leaks? Is it from the greed of wanting more out of something less? Is it cause the work that was put into the project presents an album that holds substance? Is it how the Artist tells his Stories so well that the listener is able to coincide with the artist just the way he intended for it to be? I can’t remember the last time I heard a tape that made me think about my childhood, trust issues, and heartbreak all at once.

“In case you forgot” by Houston Rapper “TWENTY24FOUR” paints the picture of a young man battling with his vices from a young age. In this case, a kid tryna find meaning in life growing up broke with his patnas, as he spoke about in “look how far we made It.” From sleeping on couches, only having a dollar to his name, no car, a cycle of drugs, being wild and miscellaneous with his old homies risking shit, and dealing with his regrets from past relationship endings that were left sour. To having fans sing his songs, and touring the world having shows on the road.

Houston Rapper, “TWENTY24FOUR’s”  “In case you forgot” isn’t even a year seasoned and you can already tell it’s gonna keep its substance over time from the smooth, distinctive percussion, to the feel of live instruments like the guitar solo featuring the beautiful voice of “Grace Mary” in “Interlude 4 You”, as well as having features from native Houston artist like Aaron may who keep the spirit of Emceeing alive, leaving the real hip hop listeners hooked keeping the Ep on repeat….. well at least me.
